Rates for Individual Sessions
Each 50 minute session is $75. If you and I agree that a specific amount of sessions should be scheduled, then this hourly rate may be reduced, depending on the number of sessions. I do a sliding fee for those who are unable to pay the posted rate. Please email if the cost is a hardship.
Paying privately may not be an option for you at this time and I fully understand the financial challenges families and clients face. The benefits to art therapy, and positive research published regarding this profession, are reaching the psychiatric community and health insurance companies. They are starting to take serious notice. Currently, there are 5 states with specific Art Therapy licensure. Many more, including Washington state, are underway.
Art Therapy is not for all clients, but it is an effective way of counseling and provides tools for clients that are utilized for life, even when the therapy sessions have ended. An investment in Art Therapy services and you is an investment in living a fulfilled, healthy, and empowered life. It is an investment worth making and clients feel it is often the most helpful and enlightening (and sometimes the hardest) process they experienced.
Insurance
I am currently not contracted to provide counseling serves through any insurance providers. As a licensed mental health counselor in Washington, I am working to be an in-network provider with the following: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Tricare, and Molina.
This page will be updated once those contracts are in place and we are able to bill your insurance.
Workshop Fees
Workshop fees vary depending on the materials, number of hours, space, and participants. Generally, workshops cost between $10 to $85 to attend a workshop. For more specifics, I have posted workshop fees under the description of each workshop I conduct. Workshops
